GHS1 For Higher Education
The “One Ghana Cedi for Higher Education” project is an initiative of the NAPE Foundation to reach individuals and corporate bodies to support students from the rural parts of Ghana by donating GH₵1 or more.
From 2004 to date, the Foundation has awarded both partial and full scholarships to students in institutions such as Ashesi University, Central University, University of Ghana, Regent University of Science and Technology and Nafana Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region. In 2014, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation decided to narrow its focus to support students who enroll to attend Palm Institute. The Foundation has been supporting forty (40) students from the Northern, Western, Brong Ahafo and Greater Accra Regions to attain higher education at Palm Institute since 2014.
Our rural outreaches have demonstrated that there are several brilliant but financially challenged students in Ghana. We believe in giving more students in these areas and beyond an opportunity to embark on a journey that would transform their lives, communities and the country at large. Currently, we have twenty (20) out of fifty (50) students who are willing and yearning to pursue higher education at the Institute but are unable to afford a tuition of GHS 3,000.00 for the 2016/2017 academic year.
You can partner by donating any amount on monthly, quarterly or yearly basis towards the tuition cost of a student through the NAPE Individual Fund or Corporate Fund. Your donation is not only transforming a life but all other lives connected to that life.
