Prof. Kodjo Senah obtained the B.A. (Hon) degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana in 1974 and the MPhil degree in Sociology from the same University in 1981. In 1997 he was awarded the PhD in Medical Anthropology by the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
Prof. Senah is in his 31st year as a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Ghana. In academic circles, he is commonly known as a Medical Anthropologist/Sociologist. However, he also lectures in Criminology, Rural Sociology and Rural Development. He has published extensively on health-related issues on Ghana and has consulted for a number of international agencies. Prof. Senah is also an adjunct Lecturer at Palm Institute.
