''As a University Professor I conducted international research projects, was guest lecturer in Central America and Africa and have graduates across the globe.

In a country with limited resources, Palm University College stands out, putting higher education within reach of those who would otherwise not attain it and giving them access to the resources necessary to build knowledge and marketable skills. Experienced educators know that capacity-building – investing in individuals and groups to help them enlarge their knowledge, skills, and abilities – using interactive classroom experience, reflective observation, and community engagement is the surest path to help students develop creative and critical thinking necessary for life beyond university. It is not an easy path, but it is the best path, and the one Palm University College aspires to, which is why my wife and I are pleased to support it.''

Dear Peter, I just wanted to say how impressed Mary and I are at what you have been able to accomplish at the Palm University College, especially in your recent certification as a 4-year university in a relatively short time. This has only been accomplished through your vision and dedication to providing university education to young Ghanaians and your and Beth’s perseverance through the struggles of a new startup university. You should be proud of what has been accomplished, and we are delighted to see the fruits of our early investment in your vision. We look forward to visiting the university one day as you continue to grow.
Sincerely,
Mike and Mary Delk Salem, Oregon USA
I have known Dr. Peter Carlos Okantey and his wife Beth from a time before they returned to Ghana to follow their dream of building Palm University College to serve bright, hardworking students from the villages who are not privileged to have funding to pursue post-high school degrees. Dr. Okantey came to the U.S. to obtain a doctorate degree and, ever since he and his wife were called for this work in education it has been done in excellence. Dr. Okantey has taught at the University in Ghana and has recruited well educated and qualified teachers for Palm University College. Mrs. Okantey has taught alongside her husband and has hosted multiple students from the U.S. for studies abroad. They have persevered through many financial and personal hardships to bring the school to full accreditation, so that student degrees are of the highest standard. Of the many things that I admire about the Okanteys, pivotal is the fact that along with offering accredited studies and degrees they guide Palm University College students in critical thinking and ethical leadership. For these and so many other reasons, I feel privileged to work alongside Dr. and Mrs. Okantey as a regular monthly donor to Palm University College.

``We are honored to be among the scores of donors who provide support for the Palm University College and their Founder and President Dr. Peter Carlos Okantey.
We have followed the dream of an institution of Higher Education in Ghana, Dr. Okantey's home country from the very beginning. It was a huge and audacious vision that many said was impossible to accomplish. Of course all of the doubters have been wrong and now we see an amazing facility with students, faculty and academic programs that have been recognized and accredited nationwide.
Great leaders are visionary leaders who can see beyond the barriers and the challenges and never let go of their dream. We see that kind of leader in President Okantey and we not only will continue to invest in his vision and dream but also in the future of thousands of students who will benefit from their time at the Palm University College.

We believe!

“My family commitment to support the NAPE Foundation lies in NAPE’s core commitment to breaking scholastic barriers by exposing its graduates objectively to think critically in addressing critical societal issues facing Ghana and beyond. Our financial support provides the essential base to NAPE in attracting some of the exceptional and diverse students who otherwise might not have been able to afford to critical-thinking and higher-moral based higher education.”
